Lamborghini Miura Restoration Log

2 May 2011:

Lots of good news! The engine has been run on the dyno and it performed well.

Additionally, the chassis repairs are continuing, with new floors in place, and the front pretty much done as well. The bottoms of the center tunnel are going on soon as well. There wasn’t much to do at the back of the chassis, and bodywork on the doors is underway as well. Numerous rubber components have arrived as well including battery cover, spare tire straps, pedal pads, and windscreen seal. Lastly, we’re in the process of reviewing carpet and leather swatches for the interior. It’s going to be finished in dark blue.
