1989 Porsche Speedster

The 911 Speedster has always been a divisive car among Porsche enthusiasts. Some consider it gorgeous, while others consider it downright ugly. The idea is certainly neat, with a cut down windscreen, a lower level of equipment (no central locking, manual windows), and limited production. The cars were available as widebody examples, with Turbo flares, brakes, wheels, and suspension.

Like a great many 911 Speedsters, this car is a very low mileage example, having covered fewer than 14,700 miles from new. It has been owned by the same owner since 1990, who bought the car at Carlsen in Palo Alto, along with a 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet and 964 Carrera 4 Coupe. It's quite stock aside from a period Alpine receiver and CD changer, and a B&B muffler.
